Prayer Request - JULY
We have now entered the actual week of arura... hard to believe! During out group work with the young people we will be studying the character of Abraham. When things seemed impossible to him the Lord spoke to him saying "Is anything too hard for the LORD?" I am sure many of those who have planned for arura have seen that there is nothing too hard for the LORD and have seen many prayers answered. Thank you for those of you who have been praying. Please continue to pray for arura during this week.
Prayer points:
-Group speakers, that they would be sensitive to the Spirits leading and know Gods help. Group session talks are 9.30-10.30am
-Main Speaker 9-10pm
-Leaders- that they would get to know the young people and be a godly example to them
-Workers - that they would have patience and energy for all of the many tasks that they have to complete each day
-Group leaders/Camp director - that God would give them much wisdom and help
-Young people!!! - that they would settle into camp life and meet new friends, and that God would transform lives this week! "Is anything too difficult for the LORD?" ... of course not, He has the power to change lives for eternity!

Monday |
· Pray for Mark Ritchie who will be the main camp speaker this year. Pray that God will speak through him and be able to communicate the Gospel in a clear way that speaks directly into the hearts of those who hear him
· Pray for the four Area Speakers: Colin MacPhie, Martin Peters, Glenn Johnston, and Andy Hamilton. Pray that God will use them to speak to the area groups with wisdom and discernment |

Tuesday |
· Pray for the Executive Committee who have been meeting regularly to oversee the planning of Arura over the last 2 years. Pray that God will help and guide them as the final arrangements are put in place |

Wednesday |
· Pray for the team of leaders who will be working directly with the young people all week. Pray that God will give them wisdom, strength, patience, encouragement and a sense of humor when needed!
· Pray that the area groups will bond together and the young people will be given opportunities to create new and long lasting friendships |

Thursday |
· Pray for the army of workers who will be attending Arura. Pray that they will be reminded throughout the week that their job is essential and that theirs is a work for His Kingdom whether their jobs are small or mighty
· Pray for the various working groups who are involved with everything from coordinating the buses to confirming workshops; from preparing food to planning trips |

Friday |
· Pray for all of the technical aspects of Arura – the video, music, speakers, sound, lights, amps, computers, etc. Pray that the sessions will run smoothly, in order that the young people are not distracted from the content |

Saturday |
· Pray that God will bless the week, and that many young people will come to know the Lord as their personal Saviour
· Pray that God will draw many young people who may have drifted away from God, back into a relationship with Himself
· Pray that God will refresh and rejuvenate the leaders and workers in their own spiritual walk |
Prayer Requests - May
- Give thanks for the welcome and support so far from the headmaster and staff at Limavady Grammar School. Pray that we will develop strong links with this school and will treat the premises and the staff with much respect.
- The registrations are coming in thick and fast - pray for those children, young people and adults who are still considering being part of Arura; that they will be enthused to sign up and recommend others to come too.
- Pray that we will get the right amount of leaders and support workers for the young people that come – ensuring the workload is manageable and the care and supervision is of excellent quality.
- Pray for the health of those who have so much to organise and do for the week.
Prayer Requests - April
- Pray that the young people in the Rallies would be enthused to come, and that the Lord would prepare their hearts.
- Pray for the impact on young peoples lives, that they will trust in the Lord will all of their hearts.
- Pray for our leaders and support workers as they serve God, that they will be united, encouraged and touched by God.
- Pray for our speakers, that they will be walking close to the Lord and seeking God's direction, focused in their preparation and guarded from attack.
